About Client
Zeno.PM, formerly known as OneViewPPM, is a cloud-based project, program, and portfolio management (PPM) application designed to revolutionize the way managers approach project oversight. It was developed as a collaboration between Level35, a team of expert project, program, and portfolio managers, and Jellyfish.tech team.
The platform is tailored to simplify project management for PMs while ensuring oversight for program and portfolio managers. Zeno.PM aims to address inefficiencies in traditional PPM tools by offering an integrated, user-friendly, and flexible solution for managing projects of any scale.
The Challenge
We faced the challenge of addressing the shortcomings of existing project management tools, which were often inefficient, cumbersome, expensive, and inflexible. These limitations, combined with poor governance and practices, led to repeated project failures, subpar outcomes, and frequent cost and time overruns.
The main challenges included:
- integrating all essential tools that a manager might need for seamless project management;
- addressing inefficiencies and inflexibility in current tools;
- providing a solution that was both cost-effective and easy to use.
Zeno.PM aimed to deliver an integrated toolset that would empower managers and significantly improve project outcomes.

Dev Process
Functionality Developed
We developed an extensive project management suite, including a Home Dashboard for an overview and easy access to tools, an Admin Portal using Angular 9 and Angular Material, and a Gantt Chart for task planning. The Program Risk Quadrant visualizes risks, while the Messenger facilitates communication. Timesheets improve time tracking, and the Budget Editor simplifies budget management. Additionally, we introduced PMO Resource Management, a Kanban Board for task monitoring, a Chatbot assistant, a Pipeline/Ideas Management system, and a Resource Management System for efficient planning.
Agile and Kanban
The development followed Agile methodologies, with elements of Kanban for efficient task management. This approach allowed for flexibility, rapid response to feedback, and iterative development.
Transparent Communication
Throughout the development, both Level35 and Jellyfish.tech maintained a transparent line of communication, ensuring all decisions and updates were mutually agreed upon.

Our goal was to build a compelling product story that removed users from the idea of paying rent or managing a property and instead, transported them to a place where these tasks were actually exciting. How do we make paying rent rewarding? How do we create an experience where finding a tenant rewarding or closing on a broker commission is rewarding beyond the financial gain but on an emotional level?

Zeno.PM has emerged as a trusted integrated PPM solution, refining project management for organizations worldwide. Using Angular 9 and Angular Material to create consistent and beautiful user interface components (navigation, data tables, buttons, etc.), we are building a simple and friendly working environment.
Since its launch, Zeno.PM has proven its efficacy, with its license count tripling within a year and surpassing 1,000 licenses. Its growing adoption underscores the effectiveness of its comprehensive features and usability. The collaboration between Jellyfish.tech and Level35 also led to significant recognition, including sponsorship by IBM for the Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2017.
With continuous improvements, such as Jira and Trello integration and transitioning to Asp.Net Core, Zeno.PM remains a future-ready solution, meeting evolving user demands and solidifying its position as a top enterprise PPM tool.

This has helped to broaden our thinking and designs to areas we didn’t think possible. We enjoy working with the Jellyfish.tech assigned PM who is diligent and pragmatic. Some of the ‘not so sexy work’ has been a major refactoring of code and system architecture that allows OneViewPPM to scale from 100s of projects and users to 1000s.
